Hey Y’all!

I’m Katie Ann — a born-and-raised Texas girl, wife, mama, and the heart behind the camera.

My husband and I met in 2015, and I always joke that the moment I shook his hand, I knew there was something special there. In 2018, we traded the fast pace of Texas life for the beaches of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, chasing a slower and sweeter season of life together.

A year later, we said “I do” with our toes in the sand and the ocean behind us. Not long after, we started growing our family and welcomed our daughter in November 2020. Her birth story was one of the hardest seasons of my life and nearly cost me my own. After that experience, we made the decision to move back home to Texas to be closer to family and support. Then in 2023, much to our surprise and joy, we found out we were expecting our son — completing our little family in the most beautiful way.

Photography has always quietly lived in my heart. I took photojournalism in high school and loved the creativity and storytelling behind it, but it wasn’t until a girls’ trip to Tulum in 2021 that everything truly clicked. Photography became more than just a hobby — it became healing. It gave me a creative outlet during a season where I desperately needed one, and from there, my passion turned into purpose. By the end of 2022, I dove headfirst into building my business and haven’t looked back since.

Today, I’m based in Caddo Mills, but I’m always willing to travel wherever your story takes me. My favorite moments to capture are the genuine ones — the laughter, the in-between glances, the wild toddler giggles, the quiet love, and all the candid magic that makes your story uniquely yours. I want your session to feel relaxed, joyful, and full of real connection (with plenty of laughs thanks to my slightly weird sense of humor).
